Trainee Chocolatier
An exciting opportunity to join a new
team being established by multi-award winning Chocolatier
Lick the Spoon, situated in it’s brand new production
unit located in Corsham, Wiltshire.
As a Trainee Chocolatier you will be
helping to produce Lick the Spoon’s award winning
chocolate ranges. You be will trained in a variety of
production techniques including use of chocolate tempering
and enrobing machinery as well as traditional artisan
techniques. You will play a full role in the process from
production through to packaging.
Working alongside one of the
country’s most innovative Chocolatiers, there will be
scope for you to develop your artistic skills, both in new
product development and bespoke chocolate pieces.
Ideally you will have experience of
working as a pastry chef or chocolatier, or have some
professional kitchen experience. More importantly you must
be passionate about food, eager to learn and have a
creative touch. A team player, you will also be able to
work on your own initiative and take responsibility for
your given tasks.
You will be working straight shifts
Monday to Friday, though due to the seasonal nature of the
business you will need to be flexible with your working
hours on occasion.
Ideally you will hold both a certificate in Basic Food
Hygiene and a City
& Guilds / NVQ
Food qualification. However full training
will be given to the successful candidate.

£12-15,000 PA
