AwardsWe are delighted to have been chosen as the 'Best of Chocolate and Confectionery' overall Category winner at the Taste of the West awards 2011 for out Timeless Truffles Collection. We also won two Gold Awards and two Silver Awards at the 2011 Taste of the West awards. We were the only chocolatier to win gold at the 2011 awards. Our Timeless truffles collection and Cardamom & Coffee Chocolate bar both won gold and our Chocoroons and Sea Salt and Butterscotch bar both won silver. We were also named as runner up for the Carol Trewin South West Food Producer of the year 2011 award.
We've been awarded the Business of the Year award 2011 by Cirencester Chamber of Commerce at a prestigous awards ceremony held at the Royal Agricultural College. We were also awarded the PR Campaign of the year for our innovative approach to PR and marketing!
We are proud to be Taste of the West members and have entered the annual Taste of the West awards - the"Oscars" of the South-West Food industry since we started in December 2006. In 2010 we entered six products for which we are delighted to have achieved an outstanding five Gold awards and a Silver award. But that's not the end of the story...each Gold award winner then enters a further round of judging competing against all other gold award winners, the results of which were announced Nov 10th... Lick the Spoon were named overall category winner "Best of Chocolate" throughout the seven counties of the South-West for our Rum and Raisin truffles!
In 2007 we were named the "Best of Bakery and Confectionery" throughout the South-West. In 2008 we were finalist in the Waitrose - Country Living "Made in Britain Awards", the only chocolatier to be named finalist and one of the 18 best artisan food producers in the UK.
In 2008 we were named as Wiltshire Independent Food producer of the year by public nomination.
Reviews
In 2009 Lick the Spoon were presented with a "National Treasure" award by Alan Titchmarsh In 2009 Nigella Lawson named Lick the Spoon's Mint Filigree Easter Egg as her choice on her Nigella Love's website.
Of course these awards mean nothing if you aren't delighted with your chocolates, so please let us know what you think.
