Croquembouche...
The Crouqembouche is a traditional French style
Wedding cake made from choux buns filled fresh cream and covered in
spun caramel. Croquembouche literally means "Crack in the
mouth".
We do like to add that extra Lick the Spoon
chocolate work to add the finishing touch to our Croquembouche
designs!
If you require we can create a myriad of delicious
sauces to accompany your choux buns such as chocolate, coffee,
butterscotch or fruit coulis.
We typically serve three buns per person.
Due to the delicate nature of this
cake we will only make the cake on site on
the day of the ceremony. This is usually quite straight forward to
arrange with your venue, and we have the necessary certificate of
Public Liability Insurance and risk assessment that they will
require for us to use their kitchen on the day. This way you are
guaranteed to get the freshest possible taste!
