Chocolate Delivery Information

Alas we have to charge you for shipping and delivery, but at least you can avoid putting your back out with heavy bags and avoid the traffic wardens!

Here’s the short summary if you’re in a hurry…

Retail Customers

If you’re a member of the general public ordering for yourself or for delivery to friends this is for you…

    • Flat rate retail shipping of £5-50 +VAT for orders below £35 (£7-90 highlands and islands)

    • We only deliver Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays
    • Most Chocolates are dispatched the same or next day – we’re pretty quick these days!
    • Anything can be ordered for local pickup from Corsham
    • We don’t currently ship internationally, but if you think we should, let us know!
    • Scottish Highlands, and Offshore UK are sent by Royal Mail

Orders shipped to the mainland UK through Interlink Express are fully tracked with many delivery options available through the Interlink website  including…

    • Have the parcel left in a specified safe place

Wholesale & Trade customers

If you have a shop and have been allocated a special wholesale login account this is for you… for everybody else please read the retail delivery section.

  • FREE Shipping for orders over £300 ex VAT (UK Mainland only, reduced rate for highlands and islands). UK Mainland orders between £100 – £300 ex VAT charged at £8-95+VAT. Small orders under £100 ex VAT charged at £20. Highlands and offshore charged at a higher rate based on delivery postcode. You can enter your postcode on the shopping cart page for accurate shipping pricing.
  • Your order is trackable
  • Wholesale orders are dispatched as soon as possible but typically take 1 week. At peak times e.g. Christmas things slow down so please order early.
  • Fresh chocolates in particular are usually made to order for maximum shelf life so please bear this in mind when timing your order.
  • We only deliver Monday to Friday excluding bank holidays
  • Anything can be ordered for local pickup from Corsham
  • Pallet Shipping is available as an option to the Republic of Ireland.
  • Most orders are sent by Interlink Express. Large orders or very fragile orders may be sent by pallet.

Chocolates & Online Store

Most items are in stock and we aim to dispatch the same day or the next day.

For Chocolate collections guaranteed for Next Day delivery if ordered by 2pm please use the Right Side Gifts Filter Bar and filter products for Next Day Delivery.  Delivery is Monday to Friday only. Next Day is Mainland UK only. Scottish Highlands may be a two day service. Offshore UK is a two day service.

At peak times Christmas, Easter etc we do get heavily loaded, so if you need something quickly please give us a ring to check availability. We can often work miracles! It also helps to include birthday dates etc in the Order Notes field at the checkout.

We now operate a fixed shipping price so regardless of how many items you order you will pay the same price (mainland UK). A great excuse to order more chocolate! All items are trackable so you will know where they are!

Want to Order online and Collect?

You can select the ‘local pickup’ option at the checkout stage and choose to collect from our Corsham chocolate factory. Unfortunately it is not possible to collect from our other stockists, but we can deliver to you!

UK Delivery – Mainland

We ship using Interlink Express Next Day service. This requires a signature. You will receive an email and text with a 1 hour delivery timeslot which you can reschedule via Interlinks website if required.

At times of peak load our dispatch sometimes slows down, so if you have a particular date (e.g. birthday) you would like us to aim to deliver for, you can use the additional information box at the checkout phase to tell us the date. We will do our best subject to the performance of the delivery service and availability of stock.

If we are unable to dispatch your order in a timely manner, we will, of course, contact you to discuss alternatives. If suitable alternatives cannot be made we will arrange a full refund.

Please note that we do not usually dispatch orders during the weekend or Bank holidays.

If you have an especially urgent order, that birthday gift or Wedding Anniversary you’ve forgotten, please contact us to discuss stock availability and delivery options, we want to help.

Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands and Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight

These are charged at a higher flat rate  and are sent by Royal Mail Signed For, please select the appropriate shipping destination at the checkout.

European Delivery & Worldwide delivery

We aren’t currently shipping outside the UK – sorry!

Hot Weather conditions

Unfortunately a side effect of that delicious melt in the mouth experience means that in hot weather conditions chocolates do melt. We have shipped our chocolates to Philadelphia in the U.S. summer and they have been fine. Similarly we have shipped them to Phoenix Arizona in the U.S. summer and they have arrived in an edible but rather melted condition. So we request that you consider the local climate and length of time that your goods may be in transit. We do not take responsibility for melted chocolates, it is the natural behaviour of the product. We do our best to dispatch right at the end of the day and ensure your chocolates are cool before shipping.

Damaged Goods

If your goods fail to reach you in perfect condition please contact us immediately.

We’d rather you just give us a ring or dropped us a mail with any problems, no matter how trivial, and we’ll do our best to sort things out so you’re completely happy. Because we think that’s just how things should be.

It really helps us if you can retain the packaging if damage is caused during shipping.
