Lick the Spoon have been named Champion Chocolate at the Taste of the West awards 2019 in a ceremony held in the Great Hall at Exeter University. The awards ceremony is considered the ‘Oscars’ of the South-West food industry and each Champion will have undergone two separate rounds of judging by separate panels of judges.

The Humbug Chocolate sticks (TM) are a new product for Lick the Spoon and feature fully home compostable and biodegradeable plastic free packaging.
A unique recipe, the sticks are made with Lick the Spoon’s own small batch Bronde chocolate made in small batches over 72 hours for a delicious caramelised flavour.

We’re absolutely delighted to win Champion Chocolate. It’s the fith year in a row we’ve won and the competition was extremely high this year. It’s the ninth time we’ve won since first entering and each win has been with a completely new chocolate!
Lick the Spoon were also one of four finalists for the South-West Environmental Sustainability awards for their approach to sourcing and changes in their business over the last three years putting sustainability at centre of their approach.
Lick the Spoon hand-make their chocolates in the historic town of Corsham, Wiltshire close to the city of Bath. Their chocolates are available from their own website, independent retailers throughout the UK and luxury stores such as John Lewis, Oxford Street.
