The judges said of Lick the Spoon’s Salted Caramel Sauce…
It has a lovely aroma with a good, rich, caramel colour. Good viscosity with a well-balanced sweet versus salt flavour.
The Salted Caramel sauce has launched in the chocolate room of Liberty London this month and has been a popular throughout the Summer in Lick the Spoon’s Cirencester store.
Lick the Spoon’s Chocolate Salami won a Silver award under its original name the Panforte Log. Lick the Spoon’s creative Director Diana short explained…
The chocolate Salami recipe was originally created as a Panforte Chocolate log and this was how we originally entered it into the awards. But as with all the best ideas with a little reworking and a touch of serendipity the panforte log turned into the much more funky Chocolate Salami! We are also delighted that the Salami has launched in Harvey Nichols stores this month.

Their Chocolate factory was opened four years ago at the same time as their Cirencester shop. Customers throughout the UK can order directly from the company’s website. The company has expanded steadily each year since opening and is taking on two new Apprentice Chocolatiers this month.
We’re very excited with the way the business is going, says Diana…, and were delighted to be taking on two more apprentices this month!
