Our new Mixed Vegan Chocolates collection is here! Over the last two years we’ve been expanding our range of original Vegan chocolates to the point that we’ve now put them together in a new 12 chocolate mixed Vegan Chocolates collection. You don’t have to be a vegan to enjoy these delicious chocolates of course! It’s not a matter of simply substituting ingredients but carefully developing original plant based recipes that are absolutely delicious in their own right.
We’ve paired the chocolates with a delicious, smooth, decadent Raisetrade dark chocolate and cashew-milk chocolate, made at origin with cacao beans and cashew nuts from the beautiful island of Madagascar.
Not all plant based recipes have to be new! Our Tudor Orange is inspired by a 500 year old Tudor recipe as featured on BBC TVs the Sweet Makers where Diana was one of the four time travelling confectioners.
Our Peanut and Smoked salt was a Taste of the West Gold award winner this year and our Vegan Salted Caramels were finalist for Champion chocolate last year. Both have also won Great Taste Awards.
Ethical ingredient sourcing is paramount which is why our Hazelnut Praline is made with Piedmont IGP certified Hazelnuts.
The collection may vary but also features Stem Ginger ganache, Pina Colada, and again looking to the past Rose and Violet creams made to a Victorian recipe first featured in Skuse’s complete confectioner 1894.
Presented in our new Plastic free locally made 12 chocolate boxes. Our chocolate boxes are also something special. Developed over a year with a local packaging company they use an innovative water based food safe barrier. Most chocolate boxes have a thin plastic coating as a food safe barrier. By using a local company we can also reduce the delivery carbon footprint, check board sourcing, and keep more money in the local economy – the Raisetrade of Wiltshire as Neil Kelsall founder of Raisetrade described it.
