This is a classic quintessentially English chocolate with a fondant centre infused with Rose and Violet. The chocolates are topped with a crystallised rose and violet petal and presented in an elegant cream rose foil blocked twelve chocolate Plastic Free box making them a lovely gift or treat for yourself.
You may have seen Diana on the Victorian episode of BBC TVs The Sweet Makers exploring the traditional method of making creams in starch beds. Our own recipe is inspired by Skuse’s Complete Confectioner 1897 edition.
