We have a new Website!

We have a new website! Yippeee!

We’re all very excited, and now relaxing a little from the trepidation of pushing the Go button. Our old website has served us well since we started in 2006 and has only had one major facelift.

So why change now?

Well, in the last eighteen months we’ve noticed a huge change in the way our website is viewed. Eighteen months ago only 5% of people were viewing our website on a mobile device. Now it’s over 30% and growing! With the proliferation of smart phones and tablet devices it’s quite a tricky job to look good on all of them.

So the new website is a liquid responsive design. Cool I here you say…err, what’s that in English? Admittedly it sounds like we’ve taken a puddle of chocolate and prodded it to see if it would turn into a website (at times it might have been easier!). Essentially whether you view our site on a desktop, tablet or mobile phone it should detect your screen size and configure itself to look as good and readable as possible on your screen.. hurrah!

There are lots of other changes too, we’ve also changed our fresh chocolate designs, flavours and collections; changed the packaging on standard products such as Sea Salt Pralines. We had some separate fledgling websites that we’ve now combined with our new site, so we’ll be adding lots more resources on chocolate recipes, and day to day news.

Account Logins

If you had an account on our old website we have migrated your user email over and setup an account for you. Your password has been reset (the security on our old site was so good we couldn’t decrypt passwords if we wanted to). You can have your new password emailed to you automatically from the My Account page. Unfortunately you won’t be able to see past orders.

Wholesale Logins

If you had a Wholesale account on our old website we have migrated your user email over and setup a Wholesale¬† account for you. Your password has been reset (the security on our old site was so good we couldn’t decrypt passwords if we wanted to). You can have your new password emailed to you automatically from the My Account page. Unfortunately you won’t be able to see past orders. We think you’ll find the new Wholesale browsing much improved. It has been one of the main areas we’ve tried to improve on our new site. Once logged in you’ll see Wholesale only prices with Case sizes, RRPs etc and can order and pay online.
